Sports Horse Son of Primitive Rising
Bred specifically as a sport horse. Primitive Star was the only 3 year old to pass the stallion grading for SHB (GB) in 2001. He received very high marks for his conformation, i.e. good length of rein, excellent laid back shoulder, deep girth, plenty of good quality bone, sound well shaped feet etc. He possesses great athleticism and is a super mover in all departments; walk, trot and well balanced canter.
He returned for his re-grading with SHB in April 2007. He successfully passed and was awarded Champion Non TB achieving the highest score over all. His jumping ability is exceptional; he scored an impressive 9/10 for his jumping at both gradings. He possesses a huge, careful jump with excellent technique.
2007 saw Primitive Star starting a new career with great success. He started his dressage training in November 2006. He went to his 1st competition in December 2006 and has been placed virtually every outing since. He is competing and winning at Elementary and Medium level and is working at Advanced Medium at home. He is making fantastic progress considering he only competes out of the stud season
Primitive Star is a handsome individual and we have targeted him at the 3 Day Event market. TB or TB types are the mares for him and in our opinion you could produce something very worthwhile.
Above all his temperament is absolutely perfect, he is so easy to handle and learns very quickly. An absolute gentleman and a pleasure to own.

His oldest progeny are 8 yr olds. He is the sire of EventersPrimitive Roc7yo ridden by Lucy Kemplay. In 2010 Won the Novice at Belton 2nd at Burnham Market in the Novice. 10th in Intermediate at Great Witchingham. Selected to go to the 7yo championships at Le Lion D'angers.
5th in the 4yo Pavo young horse championships 2007, qualified for the 5 yr olds. Won 2 PN in 2008 . Won a novice and placed at 3 more novices in 2009.
Starlight IV - Advanced7yo mare.
In 2011 she was 2nd in the Intermediate Novice at Gatcombe. Competed lightly because she is in foal for 2012.
In 2010 won Intermediate novice at Portman and 3rd in the Intermediate at Glanusk this year.
In 2009 qualified for the novice championship at Gatcombe. Won a Novice and placed in 3 more novices. 4th in Novice Intermediate.
Placed in the 4yo Pavo championships 2007, qualified for the 5yo in 2008.
