The illustrious Primitive Rising, who has proved himself time and time again in the event field and National Hunt racing.
National Hunt sire of winners with offspring such as Big Fella Thank, 4th in 2010 Grand National, Moor Lane, Paperising, Suprising and Go Informal.
He was also a prolific sire of eventers, winning 8 British Horse Foundation Awards and siring the winner of the BYEH on 5 occasions.
In 2010 he is 6th in the WBFSH Top 100 sires of eventers in the world.
His advanced horses include Cool Mountain (won team gold and individual silver at WEG 2010, 1st Kentucky 4*) Kings Temptress ( 1st Kentucky 4*,7th Burghley) Primitive Control (6th Badminton, 7th Burghley, competed for GB at the 2002 European championships), Primitive Streak (8th Bramham and Necarne), Jurassic Rising (3rd & 4th Bramham, 1st Blenheim, 5th Le Lion d'angers) and Limestone Rise.
He was also a very good sire of Show horses with Mountain Firefly, champion broodmare and HOYS Cuddy Champion, Smart Thinking, Port Patrick to name a few.
